What is the movie about?: The Key is inspired by the children's version of the best selling Christian classic, Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. This is an allegory of the Christian walk told thru the adventures of an orphan boy, Christian and his friends. Along the way, they will meet various characters like the Giant Despair who will try to deter the children from following the King's way. The Key is a family friendly, live action adventure movie. Think Narnia and Lord of the Rings meets Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
How much funding is needed to produce the film?: The feature film, The Key will be a big budget production, estimated to cost millions to make and distribute. We are striving for excellence in the production and promotion of this film.
How will you raise the necessary funds?: We are starting by raising awareness and making a short film taken from the larger screenplay.
What is the purpose of doing a short film?: The short film will be less than 20 minutes in length and is being produced for the film festival circuit to garner interest, create buzz and support for distribution. It will be an instrumental marketing tool used to raise funding for the full length feature film. The Key short film contains a single stand-alone scene adapted from the full length feature that will require about $20,000 to produce.
Who are the key players involved in this movie making project?: The movie is being produced by JanSan Entertainment LLC and many gifted friends and business associates in the entertainment industry.
What or who is JanSan Entertainment, LLC?: Nearly three years ago, a tight friendship was born. Business woman and actress, Janet Craig Grossman and books & family friendly resource reviewer and former radio personality Susan C. Lee shared a vision to turn a best selling Christian classic into a movie with the highest professional and production level that will measure up to any film production in the industry. Jan (the first part of Janet's name) San (the last part of Susan's name) Jansan Entertainment, LLC is dedicated to producing the highest quality films. Our mission is to glorify God through excellence in content and quality. We hope to reach the lost and edify the body of believers on this earth.

Currently, JanSan Entertainment is not affiliated with any church or religious organization. We are two women who are committed believers, challenged to raise the bar in making movies with faith based wholesome content.
How can I be involved?: First, you can PRAY!!! Pray that God will guard our hearts from the evil one, pray for health and protection for everyone of our cast and crew, pray that all the details will work out to make a film that builds the body and touches the lost, pray that this film will be a witness of the power of God to those unsaved working on the crew and to those viewing the short film and finally, pray that we will get all the funding needed to pay our crew!

Secondly, please spread the word about our film to everyone you know. We want the Christian community to come together and be aware of our production and to support us and our film.

Thirdly, we need help in raising more funds. At this time, we are still looking for an Executive Producer for the film and are taking donations. Donations can be made in the memory of a loved one or dedicated to somebody special in your life.
